Food for Thought...

Let's get something straight - love is a VERB, not an adjective.

People say, "I have fallen out of love with my spouse, significant other, etc" how exactly can that happen? Since love is a verb, it is something you DO, not just something you say or feel alone.

Elder Richard G. One purpose of this private, sacred, intimate experience is to provide the physical bodies for the spirits Father in Heaven wants to experience mortality. Another reason for these powerful and beautiful feelings of love is to bind husband and wife together in loyalty, fidelity, consideration of each other, and common purpose”

Food for thought:

Let's be realistic - marriage is not all kissey faces and goo-goo eyes, it's work - hard work and it takes continual effort to make it work.

Even though we may be striving to be together for eternity, doesn't mean it comes any easier and divorce can sometimes enter the picture, but think about...

Remember back when dates were the most important element of our life and held a high status over all else. {WINK} Being at the top of our lists, the focus on dating helped us fall MADLY in love with the persons we now call our DEAR spouses. Since those dating years some of us have had children, finished school, started careers, and quite simply have embarked on what we know now as, “The Married Life”. We all know that marriage can become TOO comfortable {a.k.a. routine} and dating your amazing spouse – the way you did when first falling in love… is the sure-fire way to keep that SPARK in marriage!
